Gates Open & Close: Friday 4:00PM-8:00PM; Saturday 7:00AM-8:00PM; Sunday 7:00AM-10:00AM (subject to change)

Balloon Event Times: Morning “Hare & Hound” competition (Saturday & Sunday): 7:35AM-8:35AM; Evening Glows (Friday & Saturday): 6:30PM-7:30PM (times subject to change)

*PLEASE NOTE: Balloon Liftoffs & Glow times are always dependent upon weather conditions.

Beneficiary:

Valley of the Sun United Way – Valley of the Sun United Way’s mission is to break the cycle of poverty for Valley families. “We fight to end hunger in the classroom, to end homelessness, and to put a stop to ffinancial instability.” A portion of ticket sales will go directly back to Valley of the Sun United Way programs. Attendance:

Up to 20,000 spectators are expected to enjoy this community event.

Balloons:

Up to 25 hot-air balloons, including special shapes, will participate.

Event:

“The Arizona Balloon Classic” – On Saturday and Sunday mornings, January 29th & 30th, the sky will be filled with colorful hot-air balloons participating in the thrilling “Hare & Hound” races from the grassy fields of the Goodyear Ballpark for a spectacular sight of mass and color. Spectators can walk on the field and experience the balloons inflation and lift off. Photo taking is invited.

DESERT GLOWS on Friday and Saturday evenings, January 28th & 29th are our most popular attended events. a field full of illuminated, tethered, hot air balloons will glow in time to music.

Other Events:

Hot Air Balloon rides, the QT Family fun Zone, Hot Air Balloon Tether rides, Laser Light Show (Friday ONLY), Fireworks (Saturday ONLY), Live Entertainment, sampling, and many other exciting events. Retail shopping and commercial exhibits for purchases or browsing.

Street Foodfest:

Our “Taste of the Classic” is set with a culinary experience including festival food favorites, “Beer Tents”, Live music stage, and more. Come hungry and stay for a while…

Admission:

For any one day – $25 at the gate. $20 DISCOUNT ticket promotion starts Friday, November 26th, 2021 (Black Friday). Active Military and Children 12 & under are always FREE. Group ticket packages available. General parking $5. PLEASE NOTE, NO PETS ALLOWED. ALL BALLOONING EVENTS ARE DEPENDENT UPON WEATHER CONDITIONS. NO REFUNDS.
